The World Youth Football Championship, announced the top youth teams on its early season watchlist. The “watchlist” will be updated as the season progresses as teams jockey for the top position.

“The culminating event is taking place this December at the Pro Football Hall of Fame where top teams and athletes will square off for the championship belt” says, Rich McGuinness, General Manager of the World Youth Football Championship. With 11 divisions made up of 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 14U, mighty mite, jr. peewee, peewee and jr. midget, along with three all-star divisions for 6th, 7th and 8th grade, the teams will have a chance to play in one of the 13 regional tournaments.

The selection process started in the summer as national scouts attended jamborees and preseason football events. It will continue through September as teams begin their season and continue on into October as teams separate themselves from the pack.
